The December Dublin prayer event will take place on 1st December 2009 at 7.30pm.

Please come along if you are free as we pray for the people and the work of CMS Ireland and our global partners and their regions.

We realise that many of our friends and supporters live too far from Dublin or Belfast to be able to attend these events, but the God of prayer isn’t bound by geography. We would therefore encourage you to pray with us on those evenings, wherever you happen to be. You may like to use this simple prayer.

We look forward to praying with you….

Almighty God,

We come humbly before you, acknowledging your great power, mercy and love. Hear our prayer.

Father of all nations, we thank you that we are united as your family with our brothers and sisters across the world. Bless these relationships, remain at the centre of them. May they be based on your values and pleasing to your ways.
Your will be done.

We thank you for the honour of serving you through spreading the news of your great love. May all that we do would bring glory to Your Holy name.
Your will be done.

We pray for the Board of Trustees, the staff and the volunteers of CMS Ireland. Grant them wisdom, inspiration and passion as they seek to follow and serve you in their work with the church in Ireland and with partners across the globe. Reveal your vision for the work of the Society.
Your will be done.

Father, we lift up to you our Global Partners. We pray that they would know clearly the plans that you have for them. We give thanks that you are a God who provides and equips us to do your good works. Bless our partnerships with your church throughout the world.
Your will be done.

We remember our Mission Partners, Mission Associates, STEP volunteers and META teams. We give thanks for them and the gifts they bring to the situations where they find themselves. Whether they are at home or further afield, coming or going, may they be reassured that you hold them in your hand. We pray for their health and safety. We pray for blessing on their work and in the relationships they build.
Your will be done.

Heavenly Father, we lift these prayers to you.
May your will be done, on earth, as in heaven.
