12 Global Gifts For Christmas

A very happy Christmas from the staff team at CMSI!

Tonight, we move from the season of Advent into the feast of Christmas - a 12-day celebration of God's great gift of grace and truth. To mark this special time of thanksgiving, we want to share some gifts from the global Church. In CMSI, we believe that the Church in Ireland has as much to 'receive from' as it does to 'offer to' the global Church. True partnership is shown in interdependence and mutual sharing: when there is both giving and receiving, visiting and hosting, speaking and listening.

Throughout 2022, we have been encouraged, inspired and challenged by our global partners and by all that they have been doing to care for vulnerable communities during times of crisis. They have much to teach us, if we are willing to learn.

So, over the next 12 days, we will share 12 gifts from the global Church. As you unwrap these gifts and reflect upon them, may they bring you much light and joy.
