Seven down, two to go!
The last two weeks of January saw the CMSI staff team host seven Impact roadshow events across Ireland, visiting Belfast, Dungannon, Dromore, Ballymena, Cork, Dublin and Bushmills.
The Impact series offers a chance for members, supporters and friends of CMSI to meet together and to hear recent highlights from the work of the society and its partners. In keeping with CMSI's current annual theme, this year's Impact presentation features stories of God's people at work 'in the margins'.
At a number of the events, the CMSI staff have been joined by volunteer speakers, each of whom have shared something about their recent visits to their partners.
The presentation has also included an introduction to CMSI's Children's Resource for 2019, Outside In.
Speaking about the Impact events, CMSI's Mission Resource Manager, Roger Cooke said:
"As a staff team, we really enjoy this opportunity to meet with members of the CMSI family all over Ireland. So far this year, well over 100 people have joined us for the Impact gatherings and there's been a real sense of connection and engagement. We've been hugely encouraged by the response to the presentation and the warmth of welcome we've received."
The final two events in the Impact series are taking place in Enniskillen this Sunday, 10th February (St Macartin's Cathedral Halls, 3pm) and in Bangor next Monday evening, 11th February (Ballyholme Parish Halls, 7:30pm). All are welcome!
