During this period of Covid-19 restrictions, CMSI is increasing its output of stories, news and prayer updates. We are doing whatever we can to continue equipping and inspiring churches in mission and maintaining fruitful connections within God's global family. Every Friday, we'll aim to provide a summary of what we've shared during the previous week.
It's a double-helping of Friday Updates this week after the Easter break.
In CMSI over the past two weeks:
Gillian Maganda shared video messages and prayer updates from: Luweero Diocese (Uganda); Kibungo Diocese and Shyogwe Diocese (Rwanda).
We shared additional updates from Nepal and South Sudan.
Jenny Smyth shared an inspiring story of the impact of a legacy gift in Uganda
Following predictions about catastrophic food shortages for parts of Africa, Linda Abwa wrote a challenging and poignant reflection about staying with our partners through the many crises they face.
We made some of our Children's Resource material available as free downloads from the CMSI website.

Covid-19 Appeal
A huge thank-you to everyone who has already donated to our Covid-19 Response Appeal.
We have been receiving requests from our Global Partners to help them provide food for the people they serve in their own communities. For the most part, food is still available, but people no longer have the means to buy it - an early consequence of the wider impacts of the virus.
Please do respond to this appeal - and share it with others. This is a time for compassion and generosity.
Next week, we hope to provide further details on how we can best support our partners. And we'll be sharing a special prayer for the Church in this time of coronavirus.
Thanks for your faithful prayers and support for CMSI and our Global Partners.
