Following a significant increase in insecurity, violence and displacement in Eastern DR Congo, CMSI's Global Partners have asked CMSI and the Church in Ireland for help. We are launching a special Emergency Appeal to assist our partners as they respond in the short and medium term.
During the Christmas holidays, the CMSI staff team received updates from a number of friends and partners in DR Congo, including Bishop Isesomo in North Kivu Diocese. They shared heartbreaking stories reflecting the reported news of upsurge in attacks, killings and kidnappings:
CMSI's Global Partners in DR Congo have asked for our help as they respond to influxes of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) and provide care for those whose lives have once again been uprooted by violence.
Your donation will help our partners as they respond to this latest crisis. Please give as generously as you can - and continue to pray for the Church In DR Congo.
