Jane Nalukenge

In Kampala, Uganda, Jane had to leave her job as a secretary and return to the village when her mother had a stroke. Because her mother needed help with every aspect of life, Jane was unable to secure regular employment. However, with skills in tailoring and collecting scraps of materials from sellers at the market, Jane has been making these beautiful bags.

Jane’s family depend on the sale of her bags and so in buying these upcycled cut-offs, you get more than a pretty purse. You are allowed to partner with Jane in helping her provide the support her mother needs.
